In December 2009, the St. Petersburg design biennial MODULOR became the launch site for STUDIO DEGA’s new INFINITYCONST trade fair construction system. MODULOR has established itself as a gathering for designers, architects and aspiring students, all of whom relish the opportunity to present their latest innovations in the fields of graphic, art and media design. The pieces are judged by an international jury of leading designers and architects, and many of the exhibitors hope to attract acclaim for their new ideas. STUDIO DEGA was the key partner of the trade fair, and used the biomorphic elements of its INFINITYCONST system to create a huge dome-like structure that housed both the technical area and a stage for the numerous fashion shows, workshops, awards ceremonies and other spectacles that took place over the course of the week. This was our first experience in assembling the INFINITYCONST exhibition system for a public event.
